How can I use Accessibility features and Keyboard Shortcuts?

To ensure Witty is accessible to everyone, we've integrated various keyboard shortcuts and enhanced screen reader compatibility to make navigation and functionality easier, especially for users who rely on keyboard commands or have visual impairments. 

Microsoft Word in Focus

When you are working within Microsoft Word, the following default Office shortcuts will help you switch between different elements:

• F6: Switch between the document, task pane, status bar, and ribbon. In a document that has been split, F6 includes the split panes when switching between panes and the task pane.
• Shift + F6: Switches between the document, ribbon, status bar, and task pane.

Witty Works Add-in in Focus / 'Writing' Tab

When you are using the Witty Works add-in, the following shortcuts will enhance your experience while on the 'Writing' tab:

• Ctrl + Shift + C: Check Text
• Ctrl + Shift + I: Ignore (word) Once
• Ctrl + Shift + P: Ignore (word) Permanently

These shortcuts are designed to streamline your workflow and ensure that you can perform tasks efficiently without relying heavily on a mouse or trackpad. You can also navigate and shift the focus area by pressing the Tab key.
